Don is a graduate of Texas A&M University (1970) and the University of Texas at Austin (1973). He was commissioned and served in the U.S. Army, discharged with the rank of captain. By profession, a pharmacist having worked in hospital and retail pharmacy as a staff pharmacist, manager, and pharmacy owner.
He served for more than 25 years as a volunteer with Boy Scouts of America, having received such coveted recognition as District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver, and Vigil Honor.
In church, Don served as Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and youth leader. He has served on various committees and as a facilitator and teacher in several home group Bible Studies. Don is an Ordained International Missionary with Kingsway Fellowship International.
Becky is the daughter of a Methodist Pastor and a graduate of Rockwall High School. She and Don married in 1970. They have 2 sons who are both married and have children of their own.
Becky has worked for various religious and mission organizations including Blanton Gardens (a Methodist retirement facility), Christ for India, and Evangel Bible Translators.
In church, Becky has served on various committees and helped facilitate ladies events. She has served as teacher and facilitator in home Bible studies for ladies. Becky is a licensed International Missionary with Kingsway Fellowship International.
They have both been active in missions for decades. Their short-term foreign missions include Haiti, Romania, South Africa, India, and Kenya.
